A Temporary Lapse in Good Judgment

I only have two more posts about how to write a novel, but I am not quite done with the next one—Resources. So you’re stuck with my rambling. Huzzah!

It’s snowing! In March! In Georgia! It’s not sticking, but at one time there was snow, sleet, and rain falling from the sky, all at once. I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP! I should have taken a picture, but I didn’t.

First, Natalie Whipple has an awesome contest I plan to enter. So you should go check out her blog. I love her blog. Love, love, love her blog (did I mention I love her blog?).

Second, editing is still going slowly. Once I allow myself to see all the flaws in the writing, I drive myself crazy with EVERYTHING. So I have been on the warpath. Adverbs beware!

Third: I can’t be the only one who is tempted to construct a made up language out of those words you type to verify you are a person and not a computer (not trying to be racist to the computers out there), right? Hello? *cricket cricket*

I got a book in the mail! It’s call Edit Yourself, by Bruce Ross-Larson. I haven’t read it yet, but it looks good.

Well it’s back to the editing trenches I go!
