I do have batteries, though. I will write and write and write and all of a sudden I can't write any more. I'll then take 1-3 weeks off and do nothing but read. Usually I can feel the click in my head when the battery is charged and I'm ready to go again. I'll finish whatever book I'm reading then start writing again.<br /><br />Technically I have books I read while I write, but when I'm really engaged in a book, I stop writing and devote all my attention to the book. So when I'm writing, any books are only getting a fraction of my attention. It's pretty much an either/or situation.Joseph L.
